Project description

I was assigned several feature tasks on an ecological sustainability website where we had to rebuild almost everything inherited from another company because it was not working correctly.

At first, I assessed whether it was viable to rebuild the application from scratch, without inheriting the many problems we had to solve from the previous project. I built an initial version of the main tool: a multi-page form with dynamic JavaScript validation.

This solution allowed a much simpler data structure to maintain and would solve the main issues in the old application, such as nonexistent error handling, removing Ajax calls that slowed down operations and restructuring the code so it could be maintained.

Because there was urgency to certify the tool with AENOR, that solution was postponed and the decision was made to fix the original application instead.

What I did

Project description

For Sermilitar, I developed an internal tool to automatically compare the prices of the client's own products against competitor stores. The goal was to support commercial decisions with updated data and a clear interface for reviewing price differences.

The application was built with Symfony and a service-based architecture for web scraping, data normalization and backend result presentation. The work focused on keeping the data capture maintainable and making the comparisons quick to review.

Project description

Farmasync was a bidirectional synchronization tool between the Farmatic pharmacy ERP and ecommerce stores built on PrestaShop and Shopify. The application synchronized orders, customers and products to keep the pharmacy operations aligned with its online sales channels.

The project was developed in Visual .NET and integrated several systems with different data structures. The work required mapping rules, synchronization conflict handling and reliable data flows in both directions.

What I did

Development of a bidirectional synchronizer between Farmatic and ecommerce platforms.
Synchronization of orders, customers and products.
Integration with PrestaShop and Shopify from Visual .NET.

Project description

Grupo Planeta assembled a team of Drupal experts with the goal of improving the WPO score of several education and university portals over the course of one year.

During the project, we received training from Google on which measures were effective and which ones could be penalized as dishonest.

I created several developments that improved resources automatically, including an image converter that always returned WEBP files regardless of the original content, and a tool to improve CSS by discarding unused rules, compressing it and delaying secondary style loading.

Throughout the project, we achieved scores above 70 across all projects, which was the target set by the client.

Project description

The client needed to create a community for a European Union project and requested Drupal, so I was chosen because of my experience with that CMS and because I could provide an integrated layout and backend solution.

For the website theme, I used Bootstrap 4 to define the design and appearance. For the remaining features, I implemented them using Drupal's Symfony controller system, following MVC principles.

Project description

This was the main project I worked on during my time with JustEasy. It was inherited from another company that the client had stopped working with because of poor practices, and they needed an expert Symfony developer to stabilize it and keep building new features.

The website is an intranet for a travel agency, designed so its customers can manage their purchases. During the pandemic, we had to adapt to the massive refunds that happened and to the laws introduced around them.

In practice, almost the entire website had to be rebuilt because what I found when I joined the project did not meet the client's needs.
