New Portfolio, New Chapter
After many years working as a web developer, I decided to create a brand-new portfolio from scratch.
The previous version was one I designed in 2015 using Angular, but it had become quite outdated in terms of both design and functionality.
This time, it's not simply a visual redesign. This new space represents a different stage in my professional journey, one where three elements that are now part of my daily work come together: traditional web development, the exploration of new frameworks, and the integration of AI into applications.
I've been programming my entire life, since I was 14 years old, when I started purely out of passion and curiosity. Today, at 45 years old and with nearly two decades of professional experience in web development, I still believe that this industry moves at an incredible pace and that we must do everything possible to stay up to date and avoid becoming obsolete.
While I still believe that PHP, together with frameworks such as Symfony and Laravel, offers some of the most solid and efficient ways to build web applications, recent years have seen a growing demand for projects based on React, Next.js, and Vue, as well as the rise of platforms such as Shopify, with which I have worked extensively over the last few years.
But if there is one thing that has shaped my career during the past year, it has been artificial intelligence.
Throughout 2025 and the first half of 2026, I have dedicated a significant amount of my time to understanding how AI works, both from a development perspective and as a technology that can be integrated into real-world products. It has allowed me to become more efficient and productive, while also enabling the creation of applications capable of delivering more personalized and powerful experiences than those that could be achieved through traditional programming alone.
Far from replacing developers, my experience has shown me that AI amplifies the capabilities of those who know how to use it effectively. Understanding application architecture, designing scalable solutions, and making sound technical decisions remain just as important as ever. The difference is that we now have new tools that allow us to go further, work more efficiently, and automate processes that previously slowed down development.
So, welcome to this new portfolio and to a new chapter in my career as a developer.
I hope this space allows you to learn more about my work, my projects, and my way of understanding software development in an industry that never stops evolving.
