I was assigned the project of translating several Affinity brand websites built in Drupal 6 and 7 into multiple languages.

The work included layout, CSS and fixes for bugs related to translations.

Argos, an accounting company, was creating a program to manage its clients' accounting in Symfony and wanted to build the accounting logic through MySQL procedures and triggers. The product owner was not a programmer, but had studied SQL and wanted to be able to modify the logic if needed once the project was finished.

For me it was a challenge, because although I had solid MySQL experience, I had never worked at that level before.

You can see some examples on my GitHub of the work I did, as a curiosity, since it is not a common project.

The client wanted to create a referral website and needed a developer to build it and synchronize it with a large CouchDB database through ElasticSearch.

The website was developed in Zend Framework 2 and the frontend with Bootstrap. There was also important work creating scripts that imported data from external APIs, scraping and adapting images and handling other product retrieval tasks.

I spent a year building small plugins known as ZyncroApps for the corporate social network Zyncro. These were small JavaScript developments intended to modify the website according to each client's requests, such as La Caixa or Movistar, or to provide new features sold as an application market.

During my time on this project, I was asked to supervise the work of several partners who built these plugins, and I promoted the creation of our own framework to standardize developments that each company had previously built in different ways and with different technologies.

In the code link for this project, I included an example ZyncroApp that worked through the framework I created.

During the time I worked on Zyncro, all interaction between the applications I developed and the main website happened through a fairly complex API.

To make the work easier for the partners I supervised and for myself, I created a Visual Basic .NET application that documented the API, helped test it and generated the code needed to implement it in final developments.

I was hired as a freelancer to join the team that built this portal for the European Union through the company Pau Education in Barcelona.

It was a Drupal 6 project where I was responsible for the entire backend and a large part of the layout. The theme was custom-built from a design provided by the client.
